I was hoping someone could help identify the following problem. I have a 2001 Disco II 2.5dsl automatic. I have had it for two years and have only put around 2/3 thousand miles on it and total milage is 86k. Recently when accelerating when the rev's hit 2,500 it refuses to rev higher and "judders" until it manages to change up gear and then acts normally. I had a friend look at it and he believes the gearbox and engine are not the problem but thinks there may be an emissions sensor that is limiting the rev's when going up through the gears. He put some additive to it and now when it is fully warmed up it runs smooth. However when I drive it from cold the same problem comes back. Does anyone have any experience of this type of issue. It is a great jeep but I am getting fustrated with this problem. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards John
