I am looking at replacing the chassis on my 90, it hasn't done bad for 28 years old so it is time to treat it.

What I am wondering is do replacement chassis come with a draw string through the drivers side rail to pull the rear wiring through?

Cheers

No but it is not difficult. The wiring loom holes are pretty big and a semi-rigid tube or similar easily snakes through.

Don't run the harness through the chassis, run it through conduit along the top.

This allows for easy access in the future

I ran a length of garden wire through mine. As said above, the holes are big and so you can see it easily when it arrives. As I remember it there was one connector plug that was a bit of a fiddle to waggle through the hole in the chassis rail, other than that it was easy.

Agree with the above regarding fitting it in conduit and running it along the top of the rail. Have done this on both of mine, far easier to fit, work on, and no less protected if done properly.

Thanks for all the replies, I think I aim going to try inside the chassis first but it it proves ti be a pita I will go down the conduit route.

When preparing the harness, before you pull it through, stagger tape any connectors at the end. ie so any connectors arrive at the hole a few centimetres apart. This means you are waggling one through at a time rather than dealing with two or three squashed up at the hole together.
