When my mate did his, there was no string. He used a draw wire as used by electricians to pull wiring through conduit.

I am looking at replacing the chassis on my 90, it hasn't done bad for 28 years old so it is time to treat it.
What I am wondering is do replacement chassis come with a draw string through the drivers side rail to pull the rear wiring through?
Cheers
Thank you,No but it is not difficult. The wiring loom holes are pretty big and a semi-rigid tube or similar easily snakes through.
When preparing the harness, before you pull it through, stagger tape any connectors at the end. ie so any connectors arrive at the hole a few centimetres apart. This means you are waggling one through at a time rather than dealing with two or three squashed up at the hole together. Thanks for all the replies, I think I aim going to try inside the chassis first but it it proves ti be a pita I will go down the conduit route.
