I have just noticed an oil drip from underneath my Freelander. I was advised to look on this forum page .. One thing springs to mind.. Everyone seems to talk in abbreviated language.. Please tell me what ird,s and vcu actually are?I pretty sure my IRD is knackered so I was planning on buying a reconditioned unit with reconditioned VCU as this is probably gone too.
Has anyone used the web site "freelanderirdspecialists.com" if so what's your feedback?
Can anyone recommend a good supplier of reconditioned units?

It's not a free techie advice service, it's a community.....the tech advice generally just kind of happens because people like to help each other out
It might seems a bit harsh but if you can't be bothered to look up what IRD and VCU stand for I'm not sure how much help anyone is going to be able to offer you.

All he got was a terse reply with links to more cryptic information and porn sites. For example the first link that came up had a heading of..

Having said that the bit highlighted in red is correct. If you click on the first link that comes up there is an excellent write up.
I think it took me approx 30 seconds to find it.
