Hi All,
I'm more of a lurker than a poster. However after reading all the posts I can find on my rear suspension issue. I've not found an answer so I thought I would ask some advice.
My drivers side rear air bag is sitting higher than the other side. It appears to be approx 3/4 of its available travel but will not deflate if you move the vehicle forward. However if you leave it for a couple of days it will occasionally go down but will pump straight back up.
However it has also corrected its self and self levelled on occasion, before re-inflating on one of the next couple of trips.
When I put a trailer on it, it worked perfectly with the other side.
I have replaced the 2 rear height sensors, valve block and compressor. I have also reset the height using a hawkeye. Which worked for a trip then it went back to how it was before.
I have parked on kerbs to allow it to alter the height, but it keeps the drivers side up higher.
I believe that there is two options left, 1 replace the slabs ecu and the other replace the airbags.
However if I replace the airbag, I can't see how that would help unless there is an obstruction in the in/output valve? or pipe.
Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice as to which way to go?
Cheers
Lee
