Hello, hope lockdown has been treating you all well!
I’m aware it’s a common fault but I have a leak on my rear wheel on the outside of the wheel only, it’s quite a lot of fluid. is this just a gasket change (if so which one) or is it something else?
thanks

On an early 110 landy if it’s the diff oil spiralled on the wheel, there isn’t any seal. You can renew the cap and drive flange gasket. There are two grease seals either side of the bearings, may be worth checking the oil hasn’t contaminated them.
Also just make sure the drive flange or stub axle aren’t worn.

Thanks
I’ve checked the breathers and they seem ok. The oil has dripped onto the lower portion of the wheel in a big pool

Yes, you probably need to replace the paper gasket between the flange and hub. Or you may get away with just tightening the bolt and check it's mates.
