2 of the old bolts sheared off so hub flange had to be taken off and old bolts drilled out and re-tapped as you can't get in with a drill at 90 degrees to the face of the hub otherwise.
Cut backplate with cutting disc, new disc for straight edges and a worn down disc i.e. smaller diameter which will allow you to carefully cut round the radius. Deburr edges with a half round file. Drill new holes, cut new piece of flat bar and mark and drill m6 clearance holes. Bolt up with stainless hexagon head bolts and use stainless nyloc nuts in lieu of the captive nuts on the original backplates. Fit disc, caliper carrier, pads and caliper and rear wheel. Job done. Of course, ideally it wants painting because road salt will corrode stainless steel come wintertime.
