I am thinking of doing the mondo mod, is it best to remove the complete prop shaft system with the VCU or just the rear prop shaft leaving the VCU and front prop shaft in place. I have read all the mondo mod threads but it don't seem to answer this.

Would there be a problem with the MOT if part or all of the system being removed.

do you know any thing about the IRD blanking plates sold on fleabay, why would you want to remove the output shaft and then blank the hole?
 
I dint have non, but i seem t rememer someone sayin it could cause problems.

Way i see it if it aint there they cant fail it fer bin bust, can they?;)
 
Mondo, I know you don't need one, just cant understand why anyone would want to remove the output shaft from the IRD and then blank it off?

Having a job & feeling like royalty? Know what yer gittin at, but employed royalty................that dun't werk!
 
Blankin plate is er waste er time. . .take both props off . . .un viscous couplin so it dunt git all durty. . . .if earthling in MOT sis anyfink, just say the thieving bastids,it wez ther last week :) :) :)

Its probly t get muppits t buy summat completely useless an un-nessasary!

bit like spendin £2.50 fer a egr valve vacume pipe bung that turns out t be a fookin ball bearin:rolleyes:

Thanks to Mondo and Ming for all your help, you see you do have all the answers it just takes a little gentle persuasion for you to tell all the secrets of the Freelander, was the Freelander built on the planet zog or is it zoog.
