Help! I have just received 2 door glazing kits from paddocks. I opened the packets to find the 7 pieces of ally in each kit bear no resemblance to what is fitted to the door top. Does anyone have any experience in fitting these kits, or does anyone know where I can find a set of fitting instructions please?

there's a good 'how to' guide in the
"Haynes Land Rover Series I,II & III guide to Purchase & DIY Restoration"

I've got the older version of the book with a pic of a 2a on the front.

Sorted. Spoke to paddocks this morning and worked out that I had received the wrong parts. Correct parts on their way now.

I'm mid way through doing mine at the moment. Got the kit from paddocks and even though they were the right ones, there still seemed to be an extra bit of 'flat' alli in the kit, which was not on the door tops i stripped down (one on original tops, 2 in each kit). I called paddocks and they said 'oh, don't worry about that bit, you don't need it'. Which is fine, but do they do this sort of thing just to make life that little bit more complicated?!
