HI, so the first of many issues I would like to ask about.
My sunroof rattles when opened. When closed it is fine, since it is held by the plastic wedge but when opened there is a lot of movement. Sometimes it also fails to open or close, unless I push it upwards (not sure if it is the same issue as the rattling.
When it does open (usually it is with the engine on, probabbly the motor is requiring more power to open it?) there is a loud bang, as if something needs to be forced and is not in place properly.
The main problem is that I could not find any 'repair kits'. I heard somewhere that there is a nylon bushing which wears out? not sure if it is my issue.
I had been repairing a leaking drip tray and had removed all the headliner, so i would like to fix it while there is no headliner, if at all possible.
