Wheel arches look different too, and the rear body

they did say 2500 were made of the 11a model and many different rear plat forms . So sounds like it was a cab chassis then what ever use for the rear. And was mentioned many were used for campers

But not in 88" veriant, LR only ever produced iia and iib in 109 & 110 format.

i kind of like it and it looks about right to be a 60s experimental motor and the same for having only 600s or 750s on it back at that time 750s would have ben tall enough on a motor like that its a work in progress or a bluddy good replica and most of land rovers experiments did not have proof just an odd bit of paper or chassis number to confirm it nothing on the build sheet

There was three separate photostreams containing this vehicle. The one that hasn't been linked here, was the same photo as used on Ebay... and it was taken in 2010 !

I see that it has now sold... £2350.

The letter from the ebay advert.

Which alsoi states petrol yet the seller sateted that it was a diesel.

So is it just a 2a attached to a FC chassis (bitsa) or is is a rare prototype?
That letter mentions nothing about it being a Forward Control. Or am I missing something here?
