Hello

My sister has a 56 plate RR Vogue SE

The DVD player will only play original region 2 discs, is there any way of making it play DVD-R discs as I have some backed up kids films that they want to watch but can't.

If the DVD player can be identified as a make and model it maybe possible to put a CDR with new firmware into the system and flash the system REGION FREE.

Other possibility is to rip the DVD and strip out the CSS encryption using DVD Decrypter and then burn the image back to a DVD9 DVDR and that should work.
