hi all new to here,
i have 2000 range rover dse auto,
the problems i have are, the engine overheats if i go over 70mph boils, then i have to let it cool and then its fine for an hour??
i have tested the usual, radiator, thermostat, head gasket etc.
it is really down on power, stays in the gears to long, and the slightest bit of a hill and i get overtaking by people on pushbikes!!!
i have spoke to few garages and looked at the this myself and they say the gearbox is at fault, it has gone into limp mode and therefore causing these problems.
i have worked on landys for years and never come across this problem, if anyone can help?? or has any other reasons its doing this, it would be a great help!!
many thanks
