i changed radiator on my 1996 4.6 p38.tested old radiator by laying on the ground filling with water it took 41/2 pints, tested new one the same,6pints ,hope this might help somebody, dont know how long the old one was in their,

Would have to be pretty siltted up to lose that kind of volume
