Hi everyone" i recently post an electrical fault thought due to sparking the battery on my 4.6 HSE which turned out to be a dodgy starter motor" since sparking the battery am getting a message displayed say KEY IN EGNITION on the dash also car has not run for a few days but to night going out i heard something coming from the range rover and it was the rad fans running cant figure out why they would come on just like that. anybody got any thoughts on this. cheers

Key in ignition is the small grey closer in the barrel not dropping when you take key out. A little WD 40 sprayed on key and worked in and out should sort that. Fans coming on have not got the foggiest. Do you mean the aircon fans?

If it's the condensor fans, check relays 13, 14 & 18 and look for signs/smells of burning.

its the two fans directly behind the front grill in front for the radiator!! cheers :)

i would check the fuse box as the fault sounds as though it could be coming from there.
