Have you checked at the plug behind the clocks to see if there is battery voltage, that way you can rule out the nano for sure👍

Hi thanks for your help it is much appreciate. I have tried another gearbox ECU from eBay but the problem is still there. Maybe it was another dud one!
im in Harwich in Essex. If you have one spare I can test it on the car and return it if it does not fix the problem. Call me on xxxxc Thanks Neil

I wouldn't put your phone number on a public forum. Send a personal message using the envelope in the top right corner.

There will be an earth point near of under the fusebox. Bottom of the engine too.

I suggest you remove your phone number from public display as it could cause you problems.

To the original poster, was this ever resolved? I got the same error message, solenoid power failure, the other day. I cleared the fault and the car drove normally, but, that doesnt fix the problem. Interested to know if you solved it.

Evening Datatek hope you are doing well. Yeah I had to change the positive battery terminal last week, I have a feeling the cause was that it was not on tight enough

The HEVAC stopped blowing cold air and other bits happened, clamping the battery on harder fixed the heater issue

Hopefully it solved the gearbox one too!
