I have seen one advertised for sale with an LPG conversion and coil springs for sale online for a good price. The only problem is that I am in London and it is in Glasgow or I may have gone to have a look at it.

I have seen several posts advising against coil spring conversions. Does it reduce the capability of the vehicle? Am I right that it gives a less comfortable ride?

I am not looking to buy one right away as I have until October 2021 before the ULEZ extension. That gives plenty of time to search.

Thanks for the explanation. Can this ticking be easily heard when the engine is idling? I assume this is something to check for when buying one?
I travelled from Newcastle to Bournemouth to buy mine, flew down drove it back, absolute pleasure, and LPG NE does conversion for about £900.

Same here. It’s just what it came with ‘95 DT shouldn’t have them they weren’t issued until way after 1995 and base models didn’t have them anyway.
Still better then a Pajero :D

My Pajero did over 200,000 miles, not all in my ownership, never missed a beat, nor did the Aisin Warner auto box give any trouble. sadly, because it was a grey import, I could not register it in France so it had to go.:(
Better off road than the P38 with LSD rear diff and if I remember rightly a centre diff lock.

To be fair they're not that bad, some vehicles sir it better than others

What's much worse...
