Hi Guys
I have a 2005 defender td5 90. Just recently when braking heavily the brake pedal seems to pulse there is no shake or vibrations through the steering wheel. I changed all the discs, pads and front calipers last October it has done about 4000 miles since. Any ideas anyone.

I have had a warped disc do this. However, given it's 14 months since you changed the discs and you've only done 4000 miles it may be due to corrosion. When the surface of the disc corrodes it gets thicker, this thicker patch can glaze over with subsequent braking and so you can end up with a pulse through the pedal as the thicker part of the disc passes the pads. What sort or quality were the disc?

The discs look alright . It gets used most days just doesn't do a lot of mileage. I will have a good look at the discs.

Worth jacking each side up at a time. Check the disc visual and feel on the back of the disc. Give the wheel a waggle while its up to check the bearings.
