I seem to have lost a real nice video from the way back down :( bastard phone! Or I may have actually videoed it on Deasy's phone.....cant remember but either way there'll be more pics from our group at some point

Was a great day thanks to Sue for organising it, so glad we were in your group and not the other one which I heard had no organisation and no leader

We had organisation. ..maybe not conventional organisation but we had it and what we lacked in organisation we made upfor in great people with lovely characters.......I for one had a great day.

Sorry I couldn't meet up with the other group but had to head back this morning to sort my brood out .

Here we go then.

After arriving on time :eek:...but at the wrong car park.. we got together ready to set off. I can park straight - no one said anything about perpendicular to the bays :D

Parkamoor: Me parked up near the beck, not attempting the difficult part and drewster deciding that discretion is the better part of not trashing your vehicle before a 300+ mile trip back home. Besides, it gave him an opportunity to have me assist in rectifying a troublesome handbrake cable..

Deffo not trying that in a stock D2 when it's the last lane of the day - maybe when there's more time to play with and extremely patient spotters..

Big thanks to Doc Evil for starting the ball rolling for the trip, to all the people on the trip, (whether I met them or not, I'll no doubt see photos and read the banter on LZ), and to our particular group. :tea::tea::tea::tea:

Had an epic Saturday! Thanks to everyone involved in route planning , organising etc and pity we didn't get chance to all meet up!
...as I left Dave at home and played spotter for the day I have a perfect excuse to go back ;) Hopefully we can have another lakes trip sometime in the future:D

Too tired to carry on driving so about to have a kip in my bed in the beast in the services......must get tinted windows !!!

On our way home after cramming in a few more lanes. Brilliant weekend and a big thank you to the Yorkshire gang for looking after us both. Taking the Landy straight to the mechanic now to fix the bits that have been injured 😳

:bolt::bolt::argue:
comments like this one will get you into trouble again sue, keep your head down lol

Fuel used to get there and back plus the weekend has cost us over £200! Time to look for a new Landy I think

Change your transfer box to a 1:222 instead of the 1:4 you have. low ranges is the same but better on road driving and better MPG

More pics from today are uploading and once I find the cable for the camera I'll sort out the videos that I took today too :doh:
