ps does Difflock really know what he going to doing without a lift, he will not get up from visitor centre in a standard disco! i rode down there on friday!

Er... nope! I thought this was a laning trip, not the bleeding Camel Trophy revisited! :p :D :D

I won't be able to afford any diff guards or steering guard, plan z (have we had 25 plans previously in this epic trip?) I guess, would be for me to wuss out and get to the exit point of the rough stuff via metalled roads, or helicopter support ;)

Ooooo ooooo oooooo pretty please! Can I have a go! Please! Iv been a good boy!

If I have the money, heli pilot is my utter dream job!

One day il have the money to fund my licence :D

AT tyres as a minimum too really

Sorted that bit at least - Toyo Open Country A/Ts - even got a second spare that matches (18") with a brand new one on. My other spare is a 16" with a Goodyear Eagle (a/t type) on it - same overall rolling diameter ;) ;)

I'm aware that the D2 can raise its arse up in the air a little to help ......
No doubt there'll be **** taking if he busts a diff pan but my welder is always on standby so he's more than welcome to fix the axle the next morning :p I've usually got 6mm steel knocking about too

Only when I get it's arse airbourne over a sleeping policeman or other such humps - coil conversion ;)

Ta for repair offer - fingers crossed.
As you might have guessed, I'm replying to posts as I find them when catching up on the entire thread. :monitor_punch:

Have you flown collective pitch R/C helis before? ;) (my Raptor 30 in the pics)

I'd love to get a PPLH (private pilot's licence, helicopter) but I'd need far, far too much cash. Don't want to train in the little RobinsonR22 or 44s - no... proper heli for me - Bell JetRanger - turbine power something which gives you at least one second reaction time to enter autorotation if the engine fails..unlike the R22 - no energy in those rotors :bowl:

I digress...

Just been looking at the route and I'm not sure you have sent the right one. I remember you said Hard Knott and Wrynose were on it. They aren't on the one I have, not that I am bothered, just wondering.

Back to the spreadsheet doc can't do updates on mi iPhone sorry !! Vehicle RRC accom b&b fri pub meal sat curry sticker no thanks cheers mark

If weather is decent ie no ice then I'll run them if not we'll bypass for safety

I has no intention of damaging mine.........however I predict at least one rear half shaft and a couple of scratches
