Please help...my freelander propshaft bearings have gone and I have been reliably informed that the propshaft is damaged beyond repair too and that i have to replace the whole thing. I have been quoted over 1500 quid to get it repaired.
Now, do you have to change the whole propshaft or can you just replace the front end? Also can I drive it with the prop shaft removed, as i want to get it back home from the garage(about 3 miles)?
My freelander is 1998 petrol model so I loath to pay this much as it's nearly as much as it's worth and I don't particularly want to get rid as i like the car.
Any advcie would be appreciated
Cheers
