I have a P38 RR of which I wish I had never bought...last week the prop shaft fell off as I was doing 70 overtaking down the M6.......not a lot of fun !
Luckily, very luckily it was very late at night and very quiet...I could have catapulted over and /or been killed.

I hate Land Rovers.!!!

I will NEVER buy one again my friend has a brand new range rover and he has driven the courtesy car from the garage more times..28 times, yes 28 times its been in to the garage..its on lease so cant sell it..it has already lost thousands since August! My dad's Range Rover is 2 years old now and has been on the garge 12 times for suspension problems and the interior is inferior and scratches show for just touching the wood and /or the cheap plastic etc..!

I"m getting mine fixed then its going to be flogged I will NEVER sit in a Land Rover a EVER in my life ! they are SH** !!!
I will leave to for the nouveau riche who drive around in these death machines!!

I had a 1958 austin healey frog eye sprite and the steering wheel shaft came out of the steering box when i was going round an island . As i was rolling over towards the opposite side of the road towards oncoming traffic , I applied my brakes and luckily the car pulled over towards the nearside and safety. I HATE AUSTIN HEALEYS, I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY ANOTHER . THEY ARE S*** !

It must have given some signs before failing.
Instead of being a 10 bob millionair and buying an old rangie for burning up the m6 Had you not considered a new one???
or at the very least having the p38 correctly maintained.
I had a tranny van and 2 ton of wood come off the roof on the motorway doing 70, i shud av tied it on but fooking trannys, ill never have another.

A mate of mine brought a Brand new Range Rover (Autograph, or signiture, I cant remember the name) a few months ago, £90k worth.

He was showing me the inside, the dash that has an image of an evening sky until you put the key in, he absolutely loves it.

This is dispite the fact the car would not start once and the dealer had to send a mechanic out to basically reboot the computer system, as the car is basically one big computer.

He has come up through the BMW M5, Audi Q7 route (Audi cost him a fortune and was glad to see the back of it) and he told me this is the best car he has ever owned.

He even brought his missus a Defender 110 ES for her business.

When your next car slides off the road and gets stuck in the muddy ditch, you'll be happy enough when a LandRover stops to give you a hand.
