Looking good! I need to learn to weld

Cheers dude still got a fair bit to do yet. But hopefully should have the front end finished by the end of the week. Really want to get her rolling under her own steam asap :D specially for the v8 burble:cool:

As for the welding it's easy mate! Just buy a cheapish one, get a load of scrap and practice practice practice! Was how i learnt ;) plus its good fun making stuff!
 
Bit more done this morning :)

Made up another panel for the battery trays.

Should give it a bit more support.

Then started cleaning up the bulkhead only done the o/s so far but heres a pic

Then doused the whole area with rust convertor ready for painting.

Inner wings are finished, well minus a couple a coats of black paint:p

Now comes the fun part! Trying to find all the bits that bolted onto the front end:rolleyes:
 
that looks some pretty hefty welding!
are they replacement panels or have you fab'd your own?

Thanks the front end should now stand the test of time and a battering off road. :D

Headlight boxes and the support strut are from yrm the rest i fab'd myself which took a while but i had loads of offcuts lying around so thought i may aswell use it:)
