Hi folks. I have a range rover p38 4.6, autobox, 1997. I have a problem with the height. When i turn off the car after 3-4 hour i see the rangie in the high profile... and one side is mor higher then the other side. When i turn on he gose normal. Sometimes the go to the highest position even when driving in the city... Before this i got another valve block without electronic control of the valve block because mine was leaky... And now i have this problem... The light of esa switch is at normal height....

Sounds like a leaking valve block. When you said you changed it was it for a new one or new to you? Try stripping, cleaning and replacing the "o"rings on your old one. :)

Check diagnostics - see if you have any sensor faults.

Agree with Kev. Could be a soft fault. Sure the height sensors are good? Check the connections behind the LH kick panel as well, just in case the connections are corroded.

no everything was good and there is no error... I got it from another rangie and even in my car all things are ok because i changed the valve block for the leaks... This block that i got dose not leak.... I have change the oring but nothing....

When you say 'no error', do you mean there is no error/fault on the dashboard - have you connected to diagnostics software? That'll tell you if you have dodgy signals from a sensor.

But why is it raising itself when left for 3 to 4 hours. Air must be leaking into the bags via the valve block or am I wrong (it has been known):D

If the sensors are dodgy or heights incorrectly calibrated the system will take in air from the storage tank to adjust itself to what it thinks is correct. With wrong settings you can wake up to a strangely angled Range Rover.

Now lets clear something... I have changed the valve block because my was leaking... and the cars go down.. But there is no fault even in the diagnistic software... So i changed the valve block and recalibrate the car, I think is a leak from valve to airbags... but i cant test it...
