Hi all,

Brain teaser for you....

My disco is parked on a main road, by traffic lights. During the day and most of the night it's fine.

However in the early hours when a lorry is gunning it through the lights and goes passed my disco the wind movement/air displacement that is causes actually rocks the car and sets off the alarm.... I learnt this as i spent the first few weeks legging it outside with a baseball bat to fight off any wouldbe robbers.. only to find no one near it. Then the other night i watched the lorry go past.....

Anyhow.... how do i fix it? I've tried parking it front on to lessen the air movement, no joy, I've put the suspension on low, no joy... I'm kinda stumped...

Any ideas?

Just be thankful your alarm works properly ;)

I'd just listen out and if you don't hear smashing window just pop your head out the window and hit the fob.

Is there no garage you can use ? or if its on a drive make the fence higher to act as a wind break

Some of the older type sensors can be adjusted to make them less sensitive or, if it's the inverted pendulum type a magnet on top can slow it down.

Cheers fellas, does anyone know where i can find some information on how to make the sensors less sensitive?

Or apply the magnet?

if you lock it with the key that doesn;t set the internal sensors, its so you can lock yer dogs in etc... that may work
