tbh i would never buy 2nd hand shocks..you dont know how long they got left in them and if your gonna be taking off shocks why go to the time and effort of bungin on 2nd hand ones..

on my last 90 i got 4 tuffback shocks and 4 hd blue bearmach springs for £220..

ive used britpart yellow h/d springs and gas shocks for years now ,vehicle handling has been vastly improved

just buy new, there only like 39.49 each over here so will probably be even cheaper in the uk, bout a tenner a shock second hand, but i wouldn't get second hand if i were you

i had some of those pro comp shocks and managed to break 2 of them in under a year on seperate occasions. The pins on the bottom of the front shocks kept sheering off. wasnt even doing that much severe off roading on them.

I would recommend the Terrafirma kits - as the shocks are matched to the springs, and they just seem to be nice quality stuff at a pretty decent price.

Good budget shocks although you can't beat 12.99 std armstrong ones myself!

Procomp. Ok there is an issue if incorreclty fitted to the rear the eye's snap off its a common gfitment fault and this incorrect fitting will also help limit your articulation. Fronts snapping only ever heared of that again when fitted incorrectly also associated with loud bangs clonks as the washers/locators not fitted correct sequence and the pin wearing and making metal onto metal contact. never heard of them being faulty on the front before

Last shock I saw bent was offroad on a comp safari motor the shock was loose in its mount and the shaft gripped the edge of the spring cup as the axle went up and bent it in half but it was loose before hand as it was picked up in scruteneering one to sort for next time as it was trailered to the event
