If you get the right person yes, had one of mine advertised for sale and got the usual bunch of tyre kickers just looking for a day out round my place.
What is it that drives folk to try and pick faults with a 30 year old vehicle complaining that a mate told them this is not good, thats a problem, and then they stand there trying to give impression they are doing you a favour by taking it off your hands.

Sounds about right. I used to buy and sell a few cars but I've all but given it up now due to all the timewasting morons. Basically what you need to provide to succeed is brand new or totally immaculate motors for the price of a ten year old one, that's what they all want
