I have replaced both wing mirrors with a second hand pair. They seem to be working find except when folding them, they are out of sync, so when one closes, the other opens. Tried various "techniques" to get them to sync like pulling the connector and putting is back on when they are same location and the trying to put it back on but they always end up in the different position. What is the proper way to sync them? Could not find anything in nanocom either?

they may have individual power supply fuses, if so try this;;; remove the passenger side fuse and set the drivers mirror to match the now non operative passenger one. turn off ignition re-fit fuse and fingers crossed

Have you tried folding the one that's out back in manually ? so they're both 'in' together & go from there. The system on my D2 is the same as on my FL1, which get knocked in car parks when I forget to fold them in, sometimes they correct themselves after a few attempts but occasionally I have to do it the manual way.
I know you only get so many attempts before you have to wait 30secs or so before trying again.

I apologise in advance for that: RTFM

I read the manual and tried and retried multiple times. Also tried closing one manually. Pulling the plugs from passenger side or driver side and trying to open close again and again and they dont work. The old mirrors worked well so i m quite sure the ecu is ok.

i actually think i found the issue. just went to try it for the millionth time and it didnt work, so i checked the connections. on close inspection, the passenger side the orange/orange-red wires line up (from the mirror to the rest of the harness) but for the driver side they come out inverted. So although the connector is the right way up, the wires are actually not. someone must have replaced the connector or rewired it the wrong way up. will try to change that and see how it goes... fingers crossed
