Is this issue temperature sensitive, my check engine light came on occasionally last winter, usually after taking my foot off the accelerator at about 50mph. Nothing on diagnostics, hasn't been on since weather warmed up.

Yes, although mine acted up more when hot, IIRC.

Not as far as i know. I would think almost certainly not.
