Thanks James

nice to know it is kinda of as it should be..

going to have a good look through Rave and work out what a few bits are as the 300 tdi is a new one for me.
Push button doors are nice as well
Even seats are standard and in good order

got timing belt to do, and see what is up with wipers, will take some better pics and hopefully someone can tell me what fuel tank is in it

Thanks James

will take some better side on pics tomorrow.

looks very similar in shape and size to my 90, might take some measurements tomorrow and compare them

Bulkhead looks good and the floor pans are lovely and clean and white...lol

planning on dropping gearbox, transfer box and diff oils out, did engine oil and filter today, diesel and air a week or so ago.

had the wheels off each corner and blown the cobwebs off all the brake calipers, when hubs are turned the brakes still lock the wheel when applied think both Near side calipers maybe sticking just a touch but they do release.

will wait til timing belt done then give it a run or two up the farm road then drop the oil again, and see what the brakes look like.

bit worried about handbrake area lots of oil on floorpan directly above the area.

Could be over greased UJ but will see..

t/box output seals are common but cheap and easy

Thanks James, didn't' know that

but this is my first 110 so useful to now that the front is same as 90.

You sir are a font of knowledge on all things Land Rover

Well here is a few better pics of tank.

Filler is slightly higher on 110 but seem to remember that is a separate bit to tank i think.
it is i believe, the same size tank as my 90 as far as i can tell without getting both on ramp.

Pics enclosed

believe i am third owner, first owner was an events company hence the twin tanks.
also believe it has had a change of hardtop on the back, hence the horrrid blue colour

need to suss out what tank i need to buy and find a decent deal on a new one somewhere

it is approx 77cm long 24-26cm wide.
fairly certain it is a 90 tank, compares very well to my 1986 90 tank

couldn't be more accurate than that wasn't dressed to be crawling around on the floor.

It is a 90 tank. If you lift the seat up to see where the change over switch is & what has been done to the pipe work.

i had double tanks & they fit as per a 90. Just your neck may be different as they have used a 110 cap

Thanks

will look on friday, didn't get near the workshop today as had to run around as they discharged my mum from hospital so busy dutiful son making sure fridge full and a stew on the stove for when she got home.

The change over switch is in front of drivers seat, will have a look.

Decided to have a look at the B reg 110 4c that came as part of the deal, emptied the back which was was stuffed full of lovely kindling so no wood chopping for me for a while.

Did find an original land rover jack in there as well

and some holes in the footwell

But might see if i can get it running at weekend and then run it for MOT see what it fails on..

especially having a switched return to, ive seen twin tank set ups that eventually over fill one of the tanks

will have the seat out and take some pics for your expert perusal

Bulkhead looks good on mine unlike the older 110 4c

Again will pop some pics up tomorrow or friday

I dislike the Land Rover jacks, they can have a tendancy to buckle the jacking points if you are just a bit enthusiastic with them.
Better off with a decent bottle jack and a jacking pad anyway, takes up less room.
