Got my first problem, wont be the first.
Bloody screws that hold the drums on, the rears came out fine, got 2 of this front ones out but think Ive well and truly knackered this one.
Any Ideas of how to get it out ?
whack them with a punch similar size to the screw head that should loosen them if done enough

Front Axle Housing bottom arm, Is this some kind of castle nut, ? cant find a socket that fits , they were covered in thick crud, maybe need cleaning a bit more.

I presume you know they are onto tab washers? Need to push the tabs flat.
Sorry Mate, didnt realise but get the idea now, just never seen these before on normal nuts, Must be a Series thing.
So do these tabs bend back, thought they were part of the bloody nut

Bend them down with a chisel and undo the nuts. New tab washers when refitting, bend the tabs up.

Thanks everyone another one solved. please forgive me but I think there'll be more coming in this project.

Well got a bit more done. How does this King Pin if Ive named that correctly come out of the arm. dont want to start hitting with the hammer yet untill I have an idea of how it comes out.

top is a bush, bottom has the bearing
very early axles had a top steering arm with a changeable pin as it sat in a bush ,yours like most has bottom steering arm and you replace the bush and pin

OK So do I not need the bearing in kit ? Im hoping these balls will be OK after a good clean, but Maybe not

it looks like you need the full kit , in ay case rerplacing the bush and not bottom bearing wouldnt be good practice
