I sent them my VIN and they got straight back with,

Thanks for sending your VIN.I can confirm this fits and will be dispatched ASAP.RegardsJLR Parts UK

I didnt ask them to confirm, they did it on their own initiative

Great only if they have got it right, do let us know if they have.
I actually wrote that at the end, but then removed it as it sounded too negative (I am still English after all) :D
But you are absolutely right, and I do intend to report back
That wont be until spring when I pop back to mum's and can pick it up.
