Not the best sub-forum maybe?
Is this a Fender? if so, put the question in the Defender forum where people with 300tdi experience can see it. :)

We using timing tools the reason was the timing belt snapped it’s a discovery

Right so there is a back story that is good.
So I am assuming you have timing pin top and bottom and cam/casing arrows lined up? if so I reckon you need to do a compression test, then pop the rocker cover off and check valve gear, could be as simple as a lash cap missing, or maybe damaged rocker, if all appears okay then its head off time.

@Plodwin589 i agree with @lynall

if you’ve done the timing with the correct tools I’d back yourself to have done it correctly. It’s not a hard job.

What were the circumstances around the belt snapping? If you’ve not looked at the push rods, rockers, valves etc and you’re just changing the belt I guarantee your issue is elsewhere
