So what have you got?
Quite a lot of interest in this lately, so it's about time to have a poll:)

I couldn't list them all, so if you have one that's not listed, please tick other and put a post of which one you have.
Cheers
Mike

I have the synergy (voted)

Not connected at the moment. The fuel rail plug is broken, can i send it back to be repaired and updated to include the dash switch?

Yes, I believe if you contact them they will update and repair it.

Other type - a quality re-map for low down power - IMO there is no such thing as an 'eco' remap. It doesn't exist - If you want eco just add some strong return springs to your throttle pedal. It is purely the right foot that controls 'eco'

beat me to it, lol will be good to see what the poll comes out after a few weeks etc , if we keep bumping it to the top so it doesn't get lost

didn't realise there were so many in the market

You wouldn't believe how many more, I had at least another 8 written down that wouldn't fit on the list, and I ignored anything under £70. And theres loads of independents that I know of who produce boxes. Think the list would top 40 units if it allowed.

Oh look, ive bumped it back up:D

You sir, are hugely mistaken ;)

You are of course, welcome to your opinion ;) - however incorrect and misleading, (and biased) it may be.
Enjoy :)

And sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but - err - let me put this really simply for you.

As a really good example ! ---ANY person offering this statement on ANY website promoting their services is totally lying through their teeth, misleading the public and does not have any real clue as to what they are talking about - period.

From the following website http://www.dundeeautotech.co.uk/ECU-Remapping.html (which may) - or -err not :p be you... o_O then...the following statement
  • Economy Remap (This option will DOUBLE your MPG, saving not just Fuel but also £££'s on fuel)
Is absolutely, utterly, lying BU!!SH!T and total BO!!OX- you could even be taken to court under the trade descriptions act. (and should be!)
It is probably THE WORST example of blatant SCAMMING of the public that I have personally EVER seen on a so called tuning website in the UK - especially if promoted on this respected forum.! It is a disgrace to the intelligence of users and clients.
Totally unbelievable and absolute garbage.

Maybe that is not you ???? who knows  :D
But, if not - - a simple question ? do you agree with that laughable statement ?

Also, - just a point -- one - Extinguishes a MIL light - not - Extinqhishes.....

:(

'Fairy Nuff' - I am also glad that after consideration you changed your original reply in this post from 'yes I agree with the 'double your mpg'' statement- that is a start ;) - #eco#' tuning is a total con apart from over-riding certain emission control devices and lowering the power output potential of the vehicle, (even then the savings, if any) are absolutely minimal and not verifiable by the user due almost always to selective perception and confirmation bias, the buyer of a device can perceive an improvement where none actually exists - on a level with 'magnetic fuel flow adjusters / savers' but, if it makes you money - so be it :D - Make hay whilst the sun shines.
I have no issue with genuine non snake oil tuning - I do have issues with unjustified and down right non-sensical claims.

Joe :)

reminds me about them magnets that claimed all sorts of things

saw them first when they were launched from the states and saying to fit them on gas and oil lines for boilers, a total waste of time and money

magnets do have a good effect when fitted into heating systems , or keeping ur paper clips neat and and tidy , lol

I've just returned from the Dorset Steam Fair. You wouldn't believe just how many trumped up uses a magnet has. It'll stop all sorts of bodily ailments. Purify water in taps and make the fuel in your car burn more efficiently. It will also make heating oil burn hotter and clean Fe particles out the water in the system.
Out of all these magnificent claims, only the latter is true. There's huge amounts of money being made, all on a claim and nothing else.
