i just got email from ebay saying item has been removed ,so someone must have reported it ?
thank god really ,looks like he has a garage so police might pay him a visit ?

I don't see that as a problem as the chassis is present and for sale, along with the axles.

Am I missing something?

Please give me a call on 07971187553 and I will run through all the defects with the chassis and any other info you may require

Plates and Log Book can be posted but chassis will need collecting, best bring a dustpan and brush
This copied from description so not really a valid chassis, he is willing to send the logbook.

OK, I get that. But surely the person who buys it without taking the chassis is at fault, not the seller? I can appreciate that it looks like the seller would rather just sell the plates and log book, but the chassis is there, is complete and is part of the sale.

I just read the listing and read it as ' paperwork' only, that chassis if its the one actually for sale in this auction is not in that bad a shape and really is better than bring a dust pan.
I was looking on my phone at the ebay listing so not great detail.

This is what it says

You are bidding on a 1969 Land rover Series 2A SWB 88 Rolling Chassis with Log Book, chassis number plate and number plate(only the back, the front number plate was broken)

I would think i more likely that a later vehicle would get this identity fitted or maybe a stolen vehicle.

The way the listing is written, can post.... Dust pan......
It would seem the seller is not ruling out this potential use to any degree.
Now if he were to insist on the chassis and I'd being collected within a specified time that may be different?

On a positive note though he has not set a postage price, only offering collection in person.
