I don't regret for a second switching over to my Disco from my Mercedes W203 but I do miss the door podlights for when I get out in the dark to light up the ground where you step out. I also miss the courtesy lights (front headlights and road lights) that would stay on for around a minute to light the way while you found your way into your house.
These features (while being minor) were very helpful and I was wondering is there any way I could set up my Disco 2 to do the same? I know the podlights are just a matter of cutting into the bottom of the door, fitting the lights and wiring it in to the door switch but what about the courtesy lights? Has anyone done this before, is it even possible? It'll be a garage job for sure as i'm nowhere near experienced as you guys obviously but it would make life for myself and my wife a lot better when we get home as we live in a rural area and there's no street lighting whatsoever.
Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to offer help/advice.
