I recently submitted a post in regards to power steering and member 13E41V then sent me a PM offering a kit he has for sale.

I replied with my info but wanted to check that I can send a pm as I only recently signed up and have only made one or two posts? I checked in my sent items and could not see anything.

If there is another way I could contact him that would be great.

It probably was sent but sometimes the sent box doesn't update to show mail you have sent. No idea why

I think there's a box you have to tick to send a copy to you.

As far as I know you can send pms straight away on joining, but I think you have to enable the pm system on your user CP, I cant remember if the default is enabled or disabled. Might be worth a check, click on user CP at top of page. When the user CP page appears, click on edit options, there is a section about PMs.

User cp, Settings and Options, Edit Options, Messaging and Notifications, Private Messaging.....There's a list of tick box options
