Hi all, I have just got to the lake district today and kept getting a normal height only suspension fault.. i then managed to get it to off road mode and now I can't get it down the switch feels like it's missing the down part.

I'm stuck up here and need to drive back home to Cornwall on Wednesday can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Its possible we can get someone local to help but we need advice from the tech minded folks first

Hi

As it’s in off road height over a certain speed it should automatically lower to normal height , can’t remember off the top of my head, once it lowers then leave the switch alone , which will allow u to drive home in normal height

Another option to cover bases is post on the D3 forum https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/index.php, as someone may be bear enough to come and plug a diagnostic reader in as ur need the codes read anyway , then if it comes up as a faulty switch may be able to find one on route home

For information if I want to disable the suspension system u pull fuse F26 ,

Will check out the speed it drops for u

Ps, as a side note bro al height error can be a lot of things , broken wire behind front passenger wheel arch liner, compressor , dryer blocked , the list goes on

Looks as though u can get the height switch on its own , but still checking , just in case so u have abit of knowledge before hand what’s involved

But must have diagnostics done first due to the range of faults in can be

The sport and D3 centre consoles are different , pic is from my D3 , of course don’t know if ur sport is manual or auto

Ur very welcome , at least if ur able to get it onto a diagnostic reader to 100% confirm what’s wrong there’s plenty of us here to track some parts or garage down for u to make life easier , in case u haven’t got s very good signal where u are

Plse let us know how things go

Ps, have linked ur other thread in https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/please-help-im-lakes-179617.html , so at least then we know what help u need
