hi guys,

thanks but the 1.8 only has 1 ht coil and dizzy cap?
do you mean the ht coil could be intermittently breaking down?

This bit caught my attention......

Are you sure it was pressure released out or Suction.

Cos I'm thinking blocked fuel return

thanks guys!

the ht lead at the coil end is blue with furry corrosio and the coil looks rusty!

ive got a new one arriving this aft.

i suppose i better find a pic then....
