Hi,
please could someone measure the distance between the tub and the door pillar/b-pillar? Perpendicular to the b-pillar. Effectively you would be measuring from near the hinge to the tub.Not the bit on which the rubber sits. Also, is this distance the same as from the top of the b-pillar to the edge of the side-panel?

I can´t find this measurment anywhere on-line and I think it will help me align my doors. The gap between bulkhead and b-pillar should be 34 and 3/4 inch.

On a 110 station wagon please. Ideally one that hasn´t been previously taken apart.

Thank you!

The youtuber Britanica Restaurations did a good video on this a year ago'ish. How he aligns the bulkhead, doors and tub during a rebuild. Will see if can find the video now

I saw those and they have helped a lot but I could only find ones where he does a 90. Unfortunately he doesn't mention the gap for the second row doors.

When measuring from the doorhinge to the upright door edge where upper (side with windows) and tub joins, the lip I get 30 3/4 on passenger side and 30 1/2" on drivers side.
Guess its within some sort of factory tolerance! Its a 97 and original tub, bulkhead and chassis

Perfect mate! Really appreciate it! I've just sent the whole evening loosening everything up...roof, side panels, bulkhead, doors. I seem to have it lined up nicely. The right hand side has wider gaps than the left on mine. Must be a tolerance. For a moment I thought the chassis may have warped when galvanised. Just need to figure out what to bolt up first...

Does anyone have a suggestion what to bolt up first? Roo to windscreen, sidepanels, bulkhead? I have my bulkhead tightened with a ratchet strap on one side. I don't think the bracket attached to the footwell alone will keep it in this position.

This is what it is like currently
