Hi all

Can anyone recommend companies who make performance exhausts for the defender 90 2.5 petrol engine? SW of England would be ideal.

some one obviously hasnt told u already....
its a land rover......performance?
try googling for online land rover shops, theres enough on the net so u can choose. they all deliver parts
 
Why bother? Without some really serious modifications (like ripping the 2.5 out and dropping a TVR V8 in) you're never going to make it fast - all an intake and exhaust mod will do is burn your wallet a little faster. Believe me, before long you're going to have plenty of things to spend your hardearned on ;)
 
Aye, don't waste yer hard earned. If you want to spend your dosh on something that might save you a few quid in the long term get a stainless eggsauced when your current one wears out, but 'peformance'? Land Rover? 2.5? Nah, s'not gonna happen!

Not unless Trevor has got a spare V8 knocking aboot.
 
I had a stainless exhaust custom made, had it piped across to the other side tucked right up under and comes out through the back opposite where the number plate is. I got them to omit the back box also. Had it brought up through there because I kept ripping them off. Had it done in Weston-super-Mare by performance engineering. They mainly deal with sports cars mine was the first landy they had done and they made a good job of it cost me £300. Sounds pretty good too!
 
I was going to say earlyer, but as mentioned above a performance exhaust for a 2.5P? Seriously? When it comes to a landy exhausts you really just want to keep it out of the way, unless you get one of the big engines its not going to make any real difference.

Its not a corsa...
 
I fancy taking mine out through the back cross member, so its out of the way, and itd also look pretty rad. Anyone done this?

Very cool............ was thinking of getting a similar 1 but was after some thing a little shinier!! any one any ideas? am thinking with a really shiny one the local youth will accept me in Mc D's car park after 9pm so i can hang out with the rest of the nova's / corsa's that look rad!!!
