Hi All,
I've just put a new power steering pump and lines on my TD5 and its come time to get the system bled
I've seen a couple of different opinions on best practice, with some saying its best to follow the RAVE procedure using the bleed nipple and some leaning on the design of the system and its 'self bleeding' nature
I'm currently planning on jacking the front end up and spending some time going from lock to lock with the engine/pump running and seeing how it feels in the hopes that I wont have to go out and get some clear tube to attach to the bleed nipple and do it that way.
I'm keen to do everything properly so really I just wanted to check if using the bleed nipple is a must to get it 100%
Cheers
