Sold my 90 (desert rat) and my mate got her running today after fitting new big end shells.
Rather stuck on what colour to paint it.

He thinks Ford tractor grey which is more an off white, with black wheels etc

Have thought maybe yellow or orange

Orange would be cool with black wheels
but no everyones taste when you come to sell it

Everyone seems to go down the tangerine orange and black these days. If I could afford it I would have the Line-X, that durable black paint type of stuff!!

Whatever you want just don't ruin it and paint the arches, bumpers, light surrounds etc the same colour like you did the last one

That's brilliant, hate to think of the cost per litre, having said that, I once repaired a Metro with flip paint and it was easy mixed and went on perfect

Like the white so may be going light grey, white a little too white if you know what I mean

Grey as in the same as the mudguards and wheels on the little tractor

I like the colour arronmorris painted mine, it's called anthracite, looks green in some lights, grey in another

I like that as well, looks good painted all over in that, but cant get it in tractor paint which is what he wants.

Decided on white with black roof and bumper, white steering guard, black roof rack.

Not my decision or it would be all white
