hi mates...im about to make a purchase online....but im not sure which is the most reliable online stores...furthermore im going to make an oversea(asia) online purchase...so one of the available online store is paddock spares...

what do u think of this idea??...has anyone made a purchase from this store..??...is this the best online store ..?...is there any problem with purchases made..?

any idea, recommendation, experience are most welcome and will be much appreciated.thanks a lot...:)

bought from paddocks a while ago pretty cheap but from what i have heard most stuff comes from britpart so beware when ordering.

you will get mixed reviews on here, some good some bad but other than taking a long time to deliver my order i didnt have any problems with them

Paddocks or johncraddocks are the largest suppliers online...i've never had a problem with either of them shipping to denmark, but the postage price on small items can be high...if you order for over £50 then they are ok.

As always some people have had bad experience...especially if you get the wrong parts and have to send them back...but as said, never let me down.

Try to avoid Britparts when you order as although they are cheaper, they are generally poor quality.

thanks for the quick response...i will try the best ensuring to order the correct item from paddock.thanks guys..:)

I was quite pleased by them, just be aware if it is some important bit(i.e fuel pump, FPR, hard to access gaskets/seals, etc.) ask for genuine even if it costs more coz otherwise they'll send u britpart and u might work twice(happened to me with the sump gasket, the bran new britpart leaked and i ordered a genuine which is brilliant).....this guys are ok too and Allmakes is a bit better in some parts http://www.lrdirect.com/ and they look better equipped with bits and u can choose easyer.

Paddocks seem to offer good postage...£10 + vat for up to 30kg to denmark. You will need to contact them about postage to you and as far as i'm aware you won't pay VAT..remember to ask them to deduct it!!

What are you thinking of buying...prices vary a little...folk may be able to get you a good deal..

thanks mates for all the good input..i was thinking to get the viscous unit/fan clutch for my 300tdi plus some bulbs for the rear bumper stop light...and maybe some other stuff which i still thinking abt it... depending on the cost mainly..:)

My recent experience with Paddock is pretty much crap. Delivery time was ok, but they supplied parts that do not fit. The order number was correct for the vehicle in question, to date they refuse to answer my requests for a replacement or supply a date for collection of the incorrect parts. I have now placed my order for parts elsewhere and wouldn't recommend them, the fact they dont give a toss is not helpful.

hi mates ..i would like to order rear oil seal for my 1996 disco 300tdi..but not sure whether this is the correct part num-ERR6811LR.....can anybody confirm with me is this the correct part num or otherwise....pls kindly provide me the correct num if its wrong ..thanks a lot ..:)

do a search on here for the microcat download, that way you will alwys have the correct part number

hi mates..how about famous 4 and LR series online store..?? anybody have any experince with them...thanks for sharing ..may GOD bless!..:)

Paddocks are OK for items which clearly are not made my Britpart - such as where it says Steering box - ADWEST exchange unit.
