i have a problem with this 2.5 p38 when i start to drive away it is very very slow till it gets to about 2000 revs then picks up . this happens all the time can be quiet hairy at times.drives great when up in high revs anyone help

Hi Eddie,
Did you find out what the problem was? I've just bought one to tow a trailer but seems like it suffering the same problem (amongst many others)

Diesel with manual gearbox, I think it's going to be a project.

I think it will definetly be a project, a never ending project that will drive you insane at times with the odd moment of joy. A good stiff drink every night will make it all clear in the morning

Pipe coming from the MAP sensor has popped off from under your exhaust manifold. Common problem. Just pop it back on and put a jubilee clip on to secure it. Should solve your sluggish problem.

How personal, my sluggish problem indeed!!
I'll do the pipe under the inlet manifold instead.
