For engine oil in the V8 theoretically you can use anything ranging from 10w40 to 20w50.. ;)

My personal recommendation would be VR1 20w50 or Amsoil Z rod 20w50 the latter being more expensive but packed with all the vitamins and dinosaurs the RV8 needs ;)

EP90 I put in my diffs.
ATF dex iii in my transfer box

Put it on level ground and fill it til it runs out the filler holes. Always undo the filler plug 1st. That way you don’t work out the filler plug is stuck after dropping the oil.
Thanks I’ll get some ordered

In my dervs I use cheap stuff as change every 6 months or so does it make much difference this will probs do about 5k a year and still get changed twice.

I know this is totally off track, but it is one of those things that always puzzles me, when someone works so close to home. Why drive? Unless you are rural?
Not judging, just curious. :)
Get a donkey and a cart, actually it's a nice idea. Just think of all we miss around us while we bomb about in our boxes....
Arrrrrrr did I say that out loud....

It is so spooky that you say this. I have been seriously considering getting a pony and trap. Couldn't use it in high season as tourists drive like d1cks. Either too slow and a pony would have to work harder with a forced gait, or too fast and stupid gits would probably die, as they swerve and go off a mountain.

Actually the second idea I like images.png

There are more and more land owners here taking them in. Not for eating but to give them a place to retire maybe? :) doooooonnnnnnkey!
We already have two rescue donkeys at the farm. Got a little Shetland pony too, but she's an old lady now. She was diagnosed with Cushing's last month so lots of extra TLC :)

Shyte oil in the V8 will cause accelerated wear, so changing it more frequently will make no difference..

At the end of the day VR1 isn't that much of an expenditure twice a year. ;)
