No effect on the inlet manifold, the cross over occurs at the FIP, at least it did in my case.Apparently so. Surprised the inlet manifold fits on afterwards.
thanks - been in Norway so not replied - Ill look at the oil filter housing tomorrow . It does have metal inlet manifold not plastic though.. does that make it an older engine? It was a replacement..Any idea how many sensors are on the cylinder head and does the oil filter housing have a plastic or ally head? Also, the part number on the FIP should end 994.
If you remove the fuel filter and bridge the fuel lift-pump relay then you should get a certain amount of fuel in 30 sexonds. Cannot remember the amount but it is in Wammer's post in the Technical Section. I doubt that's it tonbe honest but it is an easy thing to rule out.
Yes, alloy manifold older engine, no MAF.thanks - been in Norway so not replied - Ill look at the oil filter housing tomorrow . It does have metal inlet manifold not plastic though.. does that make it an older engine? It was a replacement..
Unless it's got the Opel omega manifold on itYes, alloy manifold older engine, no MAF.
OK, beyond my experience.Unless it's got the Opel omega manifold on it![]()
The head on one of mine is drilled for either fitting and it's the original head. The omega ran an egr with the Ali inlet. The studs are of a different pattern to the head. Elliotts got one on his 2000my that came off my old omega 2.5tdi. His cyl head was already drilled for either fitting.![]()
