I have recently acquired a 1997 P38 and wonder if it is possible to fit roof rails to the three fixing points, if so where i may find them and a rough idea of cost. I know I can fit bars to the fixing points but as I already have bars with the feet to clamp on to rails and other vehicles with rails I would prefer to fit rails to make swapping between vehicles easier. Thank you.

Genuine roof rails are like hens teeth to find and serious money if you do come across them. EG. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-STC50252BP
 
Thats not a bad price, I sold mine second hand for a lot more than that, are they genuine? don't look like it
 
Thanks for that but the link seems to show roof bars rather than rails, I dont mind if they aren't genuine or new!
 
Cheaper to fit Thule!

On the the hand, I assume both your kidneys are good?
