Hi guys,

Just bought a P38 with a L322 front upgrade.
But nothing seems to fit right on the front end.
Can anyone give me some advise on what to do or where to go to get it sorted.
I belive it cost in excess of £2000 to be done :eek::eek:
The worst part is the grill , i have got a few pics so you can see what i amen.
Thanks in advance (i hope )

looks like it has just been thrown together, only a body shop can sort stuff like that out properly,or you will be at it all year

was it a garage or private sale,if it,s a gargage get them to sort it or money back,if it was private you will be hard pushed, for any help

It was a private swap to be honest.
The worst part about it is the grill.
I belive its a sport one , if i got a normal non sport one do you think it would fit better ?

WTF possessed you to get that ? - it looks like ****
Why try and make a car look like something it isnt - bet its got a supercharged badge on the back too

2k for that?? i'm sure it wasnt 2K. you would be better getting the original stuff back on it and selling the kit on ebay to some poor unsuspecting chavette who wants a drug dealer car!!!

failing that look here for the correct way to do this work!! you have the wrong grill on it to make it look ok! http://www.rangeover.co.uk/

Was thinking of putting it back to standard.
I take it all the parts are bolt on and off ?

The front wings have probably been cut as well as the headlight mounts, so putting it back to standard will be a pain. Personally I would put an inflated price on it and put it on the Bay, some loon will want it.

Was thinking that too if putting it back would be too hard.
Its on gas too which should help.

None of the parts fitted are compatible with each other. The lights are from the standard lm322 (with wipers) and are not the right ones to use with that bumper. The grille is wrong for the lights and the bumper. and the bumper is not right for the lights or grille. Your best bet would be to:

1. Get a standard l322 bumper and grille and bin the fitted ones.
2. Keep the bumper and get the right lights and grille.
3. Sell the bumper, lights, grille and wings and buy some p38 parts and a welder!

Either way that grille will need replacing.

Here's how it should look.

Thank you !!!

So its got a sport bumber and grill and non sport lights.
Just gotta work out which road to go down.
In the short term would a standard l322 grill fit better ?

i think the l322 grill would make it look better, then just sort out the bumper at a later stage

I think you are right.
I would imagine it would fit a bit better than the sport one.
If maybe someone could measure there one and i could measure the gap i will have and that would give me a better idea.

thought I had seen this before, but it was this one with cream interior
