Already told you earlier in this thread. It's Section D1. (page number varies depending on which RAVE Version you have)Hi all
hope you had a great Xmas could antone tell me what page the wiring diagram is on for a 2001 P38 2.5 Diesel, really not finding the rave manual the easiest thing in the world to use, is there a better manual out there
cheers

Rave is just a collection of the workshop manuals. If you don't have a good copy of Rave it is/can be difficult to navigate.IMO RAVE is better than most workshop manuals that I have used but some do find the circuit diagrams hard to follow.
I have 2 versions of RAVE, one covers Defender, P38 and L322 so three manuals. The older version also has the P38 and two other models. For each model, there is a complete workshop manual, owners handbook, mechanical, electrical and TAB's.Rave is just a collection of the workshop manuals. A single ETM for OPs year he may find easier to navigate.

I'm jealous LOL.
That is true but I wouldn't want any L322 and in particular a later oneDoesn't cover the later L322 though, only the early one. Or at least mine doesn't.
I know i complain, but I've enjoyed ownership so far.. ok I've gearbox/tc issues but that's a risk with any second hand car whether you know how it's been 'looked after' or notThat is true but I wouldn't want any L322 and in particular a later one
Just a much bigger risk in some then in othersI know i complain, but I've enjoyed ownership so far.. ok I've gearbox/tc issues but that's a risk with any second hand car whether you know how it's been 'looked after' or not
If you live on the edge, eventually you fall off, onto an entirely new plainJust a much bigger risk in some then in others

I have had all those faults appear in exactly the same manner. But only when my Alternator was duff and my battery was therefore under-par. As my alternator began to fail I kept getting ABS/Traction-Fault. Then when it got even worse it progressed to those two PLUS "Gearbox-Fault". I really think you have a duff alternator/battery combo.HI
thank you all for your help yet again, but i appear to have the manuals you have but just go around in circles, I need a wiring diagram for the ABS system, ive had one just showed me a picture of where stuff is located but no Diagram, i need it from the pump through the master cylinder through the clocks and to the abs/ traction module ecu, at this rate i'll go buy a Haynes at least they give you a clue. Maybe im used to quality motorcycle workshop manuals that give you all model and year info in the back that even a beginner like me can follow. Ive now found a dodgy brake light switch which is being sorted on the 3rd, could this be confusing the system? and yet to be fully investigated do to bad weather, there are two wires going from the battery terminals all the way to the back of the car and vanish somewhere above the exhaust but do look like they are heading to rear end lighting. the N/S/R tail light does sometimes flash up on the display but bulb not blown and connection seems okay, then it works again!! suspect these extra wires are to do with this.
Another good one is that every now and then it flashes up on display GEARBOX but its that quick you cant read what comes after that, drives fine, I changed the gearbox oil and filter when I got it, it just flashes up when ever it pleases, not very often but there annoyingly. I pressume nobody has ever developed a stable electronic system for these, as it seems a very over complicated system and they aint getting any younger like me!! soon there wont be any left on the road because the electrical gremlins wont let them work
Cheers
